Curriculum Overview

The aim of education will not only be cognitive development, but also building character and creating holistic and well-rounded individuals equipped with the key 21st century skills."
The Foundational Stage (Jr. KG to Std. 2)
The Foundational Stage (Jr. KG to Std. 2) bridges the divide between the home environment of the child and the formal school environment. It develops capacities in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy that enables the student to learn all other subject areas. Play and exploration are the natural modes through which children learn and the Foundational Stage utilizes these modes to promote the valuable capacities and dispositions.
We provide ample first hand experiences to our students to attain optimal outcomes in the domains of physical and motor development, cognitive development, socio-emotional-ethical development, cultural/artistic development, and the development of communication and early language, literacy, and numeracy.
The Preparatory Stage (Std. 3 to 5)
The Preparatory Stage (Std. 3 to 5) consolidates the capacities and dispositions that begin to develop in the Foundational Stage. Students are expected to develop fluency in literacy and numeracy and develop further capacities that are helpful in a systematic exploration of the natural and social worlds around them.
Basic Core Skills like Communication skills, Learning through Context, Questioning Skills, Listening. Speaking, Reading, Writing (LSRW), Building Language and Subject Vocabulary, Understanding Health & Wellness etc. are taught at this stage.
The Middle Stage (Std. 6 to 8)
The Middle Stage (Std. 6 to 8) utilizes the capacities and dispositions developed during the Preparatory Stage and introduces the students to different forms of understanding. Students gain systematic knowledge through rational thought and enquiry.
We provide enough opportunities to the students so that the capacities for critical thinking and problem-solving are consolidated in this stage and they acquire the desirable values and dispositions for democratic/economic/cultural participation.
Secondary & Higher Secondary
Secondary & Higher Secondary as children enter the next phase, their imagination increases and learning of concepts presented in an abstract manner are easily learnt. Project Based Learning broadens the scope of learning by taking the students out of the classroom situations and placing them into practical situations making learning more meaningful.
Academic teaching, co-curricular activities and sports activities help to achieve the following objectives:-
Children learn to think independently and logically.
They are able to identify, enunciate and solve problems.
They develop skills for a technological society and scientific temper.
They are able to discover their hidden talents and creativity and are able to nurture it.
They learn to maintain physical and mental fitness.
They acquire dignity of labour, social sensitivity and compassion, should have courage to fight injustice in society. They learn to be patriotic and develop a deep understanding and loyalty towards our culture and ethical values which keeps a society together and gives a nation its own characteristic identity.
